A New York family is grieving the loss of their young son, who was found dead after he disappeared during a shopping trip to a Brooklyn Ikea. Hasebul Nehan, 9, was playing with his siblings when his family lost track of him right before the store closed on Wednesday evening. A frantic search ensued for the child, who was reportedly nonverbal and had autism. After searching the store and reviewing surveillance footage, investigators saw Hasebul leaving from the back of the store headed toward the Erie Basin....

A brave 9-year-old girl showed up to school in West Virginia with bruises on her face and a terrifying story. The unidentified child reportedly told staff that her parents beat her with an assortment of objects and locked her inside a bedroom in their Grafton home. After speaking with police, investigators went to the family’s home and found the objects the girl described. Sadly, her parents, Lewis “Butch” Nuzum II, 52, and Josephine Nuzum, 45, apparently didn’t deny hurting the child....
