Alicia Moore, 24, was allegedly shoplifting in a Dillard’s store at Oviedo Mall with an unnamed male accomplice and left her two children, 2 and 4 years old, in the car while she was inside. Bystanders ran to the car and helped rescue the young children, who thankfully survived the devastating fire....

When his dad left home on June 26, 2025, police say a brave 9-year-old boy ran to a neighbor for help. The child ran from Cedric Diequell-Stevens Moore’s home in Pontiac, Michigan , and told a neighbor his dad had been abusing him. Deputies from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office arrived a short time later and made a sad discovery about the father and son. According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, when deputies arrived, the boy told them his father beat him because he fell asleep on the couch....

A 10-year-old boy from Colorado was on a family vacation in early March in Cancun, Mexico, when he was attacked by a shark. Fortunately, Dillon Armijo’s brother and several other bystanders intervened to get him out of the water, according to Good Morning America . After spending four days in the hospital in Mexico, Dillion was airlifted to Colorado where he underwent four surgeries, the news program reported. Shark attacks are reportedly rare....

A young student died last week in a tragic accident onboard a school bus. Fernanda Pacheco Ferraz, 13, of Brazil was reportedly waving to friends from a back bus window when her head struck a pole. The teen received a massive head injury that ultimately led to her death. The bus driver immediately alerted authorities after the devastating accident, but it was too late.
