Alyssa Milano is finding herself in hot water yet again . The actress posted a picture of herself and her 12-year-old son Milo attending the Super Bowl this weekend, and people are calling out her privilege. Alyssa came under fire recently for asking fans to donate to a GoFundMe to help Milo’s baseball team afford a trip. Even though she tried to present the ask as a way for children to learn about earning money on their own, many people thought it was in bad taste given how much money Alyssa and her husband have and how many people are struggling financially right now.

“My buddy,” Alyssa captioned the post . In the image, she and Milo are sitting and facing the field at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where the Kansas City Chiefs played (and won) against the San Francisco 49ers.
Super Bowl Tickets aren’t cheap, especially this year.
Tickets to this year’s game were in high demand for celebrities and not-so-famous members of the population alike. According to Yahoo! Finance , the cheapest tickets for Sunday’s game were $2,000, but those tickets were part of a lottery run by the NFL directly. The average ticket resale price was $8,600.
People haven’t forgotten about her fundraising ask.

Last month, Alyssa reached out to her followers on X (formerly Twitter) to share a GoFundMe for her son’s baseball team. The backlash was instant from those wanting to know why she was asking for the money, given who she is.

“This is what the GoFundMe was for!” one person commented.
“You asking for cash up and down the aisle for your son’s baseball cleats,” someone else joked.
“It’s about right & wrong. You can defend her all you want. She looks ridiculous to most people in a lot of ways & she clearly isn’t one to self reflect,” another commenter added.
She clapped back at the trolls.

Although she didn’t comment about attending the Super Bowl, Alyssa did defend her choice to solicit donations online. She went on to scold people who targeted her son directly with their anger.
“Regardless of how you feel about me, going on to my hardworking 12 year old son’s Instagram page and leaving these kinds of messages is so horrid,” she said. “Leave the kids alone. Let them play baseball.”
