Rumors that the second season of HBO’s And Just Like That series could feature an old love affair brought back to life has fans seeing red. Star Sarah Jessica Parker recently hinted that she and John Corbett could be reprising their relationship as on-screen couple Carrie Bradshaw and Aidan Shaw — and people have thoughts .

Move over, Kim Kardashian: There’s a new photo everyone is talking about. In this one, Sarah and John can be seen locking lips as their characters, Carrie and Aidan .
“This. Is. Not. A. Drill,” Sarah dramatically captioned the post, which features more snaps of them caught in a cozy embrace.
There was plenty of speculation about what John’s role will be when photos started leaking.

Early word on the street was that John had been caught on set (and smoking — something Aidan would never done!) filming for the series’ second season. Given everything that transpired last season, with Big dying unexpectedly, it’s easy to imagine that Aidan was simply there to check on his old friend. But based on SJP’s posts, it looks like there could be some romance for the pair.
Fans didn’t hold back about the potential news.

People are not being shy when it comes to their feelings about seeing Carrie and Aidan getting a second (or is it a fourth?) chance at love.
“Aidan need to go to therapy and learn to love himself and put himself first,” one person tweeted . “Carrie and Big deserved each other. Carrie never deserved Aidan, and he deserved better than her.”
There are plenty of reasons why fans don’t think the storyline will work.

“Carrie getting back with Aidan is not what they think it is, and that’s poor writing and shock value,” an angry viewer tweeted , hinting at the possibility that the kiss could be something like a flashback or dream scene.
Another person questioned the logistics of the relationship, considering the last time we saw Aidan he was happily married and starting a family. “Also, he has kids. Carrie didn’t want kids,” the person tweeted . “How will they explain this?”
But some people were happy about the news.
