Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead , just turned 18, and she celebrated the special occasion with a spooky theme. On September 7, her dad, Larry Birkhead, shared a series of images from Dannielynn’s birthday celebration on Instagram, noting that Dannielynn was going to “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” the Afterlife Experience in Los Angeles. She also chose an outfit to match the Beetlejuice theme .
“Dannielynn had a great time celebrating her 18th birthday with friends and family by attending the @beetlejuiceafterlife.exp and @beetlejuicemovie which made for an out of this world experience,” her dad shared on Instagram. “Of course, Dannielynn found a Hot Topic store to get a spooky outfit for all the fun ! "

Dannielynn appeared to go all out for her birthday, putting together an all-black outfit to match her party theme. Photos shared on Instagram show her wearing a long black cold shoulder spiderweb print dress with bell sleeves. She also wore cross necklaces and black lipstick to complete the Gothic look.
Dannielynn’s dad shared a heartfelt tribute for her birthday.

In addition to sharing a carousel of images from Dannielynn’s 18th birthday celebration, Larry also wished his daughter a happy birthday in a separate post. In a reel, he included photos of Dannielynn over the years, starting when she was a baby.
“Happy 18th Birthday Dannielynn! You are my entire heart. I love you more than I can ever express,” he captioned the reel. “May you continue on your journey being ‘humble and kind’ and spread the love that you were given to many others. I am beyond proud of you.”
Last year, on Dannielynn’s 17th birthday, her dad said her mom ‘would be so proud.’

Dannielynn’s mom, Anna Nicole Smith, died from an accidental drug overdose just five months after she was born. On Dannielynn’s 17th birthday, Larry shared some photos of Dannielynn with her mom and wrote, “You are funny, crazy smart, pretty and just about everything I could ever imagine. Your Mom would be so proud of you, I sure am.”
Many people have noticed that Dannielynn looks a lot like her mother, and on the 15th anniversary of her death, Larry wrote, “Your love is alive still to this day, in the form of a truly one of a kind teenager with her Mom’s smile, beauty and courage.”

Although Dannielynn only had five months with her mom, Larry has tried to help her feel connected to Anna. In 2019, he told E! News that “every day is Anna day.”
“We talk about her and remember her all the time,” he said at the time.
In 2022, Dannielynn paid tribute to her mom by wearing a top featuring photos of her mom at the 34th annual Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby Eve Gala. Larry also told People that he saved Anna’s old clothes in case Dannielynn would want them later.

Every year, Dannielynn and her dad attend the Kentucky Derby together. In August, they attended Power Morphicon, which Larry referred to as “the first stop and pre-celebration for Dannielynn’s upcoming birthday celebration!”
Larry has also joked about being “trolled” by his daughter, who enjoys taking “really bad pictures” of him. In January, Larry celebrated his own birthday and said he " got trolled on my birthday by my daughter!!”
