Catelynn Lowell is fighting back against those who think her husband has ever said anything negative about her body. This week, Catelynn went on an Instagram rant after fans accused Tyler Baltierra of fat-shaming her, even explaining a comment he made on Teen Mom OG years ago that he’s still catching heat for.
The situation was sparked by a clip that aired on ‘Teen Mom OG’ six years ago.
At that point, he said, “It’s your body, you do what you want. Obviously, I don’t want to no heifer for a wife.”

Lately, fans have been accusing Tyler of body shaming Catelynn , especially while he has publicly shared his own fitness journey. But according to Catelynn, that’s not something they have to worry about, and she shared a lengthy explanation of the Teen Mom scene in question in an Instagram post.
“I legit remember asking Ty right after he answered our producer’s question ‘well do you think I’m a heifer?’ While laughing & he said ‘omg honey no!’ & then I laughed & said ‘well okay then!’” Catelynn wrote.
Catelynn said they used to have a producer on the show who constantly brought up weight.

According to her, however, the only time Tyler himself has brought up her weight is when she started the conversation first or when she had gestational diabetes during pregnancy.
“I’m telling you I have never felt body shamed by this man at all! He’s been in love with every version of my body & he’s made sure to remind me of it!” she continued. “You all have to understand the way they would edit out the beginning of a conversation or the end, add some sad music & cut to my blank face lol! I’m just so sick of ppl bashing my husband and in the same breath making me seem like some quiet, held down woman!”
But that wasn’t all she had to say.

Catelynn returned to Instagram with another post, wanting to clarify the situation even further.
“This man treats me and his daughters like queens! He loves my body, adores me, tells me how beautiful I am etc. Now I’m DONE with this! Believe what you want! But remember I have ALWAYS been open, honest, and raw with y’all!” she added.
Tyler shared his thoughts, too.

Commenting on Catelynn’s second Instagram post, Tyler attempted to take accountability by admitting he could have been more “compassionate” in what he said to her.
“I know you always tell me there’s nothing to apologize for, but I still want you to know that I am sorry if my words ever hurt you, because that was NEVER my intention at all!” he wrote.
It sounds like all is well between these two — and hopefully, fans are hearing their message loud and clear.
