With a new documentary about child actors set to premiere this month, disturbing new allegations are coming up about a member of Nickelodeon’s team. Former Drake & Josh star Drake Bell has accused dialogue coach Brian Peck of sexually abusing him when he was working as an actor with the network. And when the four-part docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids’ TV starts streaming, Drake will tell his story for the first time.
The news broke in a trailer for the series that was released this week.

During this promo for the Investigation Discovery docuseries, the topic of Brian Peck comes up. The trailer ends as Drake sits down in front of a camera with a serious expression on his face.
“Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell will be sharing publicly, for the first time, the story of the abuse he suffered at the hands of Brian Peck,” the tweet reads.
Brian worked on both All That and The Amanda Show.
Brian Peck was convicted of his crimes against Drake.
As People reported, a press release about the series from Warner Bros. Discovery describes Brian like this: “his former dialogue coach who was convicted in 2004 for his crimes against Drake and ordered to register as a sex offender.”
Brian was arrested in August 2003 for lewd acts with a child that had taken place two years earlier while he was “coaching the victim.”
At the time of Brian’s arrest, Drake’s name wasn’t mentioned.

A press release issued by the Los Angeles Police Department at the time claimed that “the minor’s family reported that Peck had molested the child over a six-month period” while Drake was 15 years old. According to People, when the coach was arrested, investigators believed that more victims may come forward.
Brian pleaded no contest to the charges.
Business Insider reported that Peck entered a no-contest plea to charges of “performing a lewd act with a 14- or 15-year-old and to oral copulation with a minor under 16.” This led to a sentence of 16 years behind bars, and he was ordered to register as a sex offender.
Drake is just one of the former child stars set to tell their story in the docuseries.

The actors who participated in Quiet on Set include Kyle Sullivan, Katrina Johnson, and Giovannie Samuels of All That, Alexa Nikolas of Zoey 101, and Double Dare host Marc Summers.
The docuseries will premiere at 9 p.m. ET on March 17 on ID.
