With the highly anticipated wedding of Eminem ’s daughter, Hailie Jade , right around the corner, it sounds like her family is busy prepping for the big day. In a new interview with The Sun, Eminem’s ex-wife (and the mother of his daughter), Kim Mathers, opened up about Hailie’s wedding , along with whether she sees her ex on a regular basis. Considering how private Kim has become over the years, hearing her speak out on any subject is pretty rare these days.
Kim was recently spotted in public for the first time in a long time.

Not only did The Sun obtain exclusive photos of Kim this week, but they also got her to open up about something very exciting happening in their family soon: 27-year-old daughter Hailie Jade’s wedding to longtime boyfriend Evan McClintock.
When Kim was asked if she would be attending the wedding, she said “yes, of course,” and added that she is close with all of her children.
She also revealed whether she’s been in touch with Eminem.

Kim and Eminem went their separate ways for good in 2006, after a very turbulent relationship that saw them getting married and divorced twice. But even after all of the ups and downs, it sounds like they’re still on pretty good terms.
In response to a question about how often she sees Eminem these days, she said, “Not often, but often enough!”
Kim has had a rough couple of years.

In July 2021, Kim was hospitalized following a suicide attempt, and she told The Sun that last year she completed a stay at a rehab facility in Detroit.
“It’s been hard, I lost my mom, my dad, and my sister,” she said. “I’m good. I’ve been clean since about October, I went to Jefferson House … for 45 days.”
She says her kids have been supportive of her.

Also on Kim’s team? Eminem, who she said has been checking in on her, too. It’s no surprise that they’ve remained in touch because they’ve co-parented daughters Hailie and Alaina through the years since their breakup, but it’s good to hear that after everything they’ve been through, they’re still looking out for each other.
So far Hailie hasn’t shared any details about her upcoming wedding.

Since she and Evan got engaged back in February, she’s been keeping her wedding planning details pretty private … but now, we know that she’ll have her family by her side during one of the biggest days in her life.
