Jenny Mollen is giving people another reason to be scared of air travel. Some people are afraid of flying because of negative experiences during takeoff or with turbulence. Others dislike air travel because of unpleasant interactions with other passengers , uncomfortable, cramped seats, or concerns about cleanliness on the aircraft, among other reasons. In a recent video shared on Instagram, Jenny, 45, revealed that her head has been itchy and she initially thought it was a perimenopause symptom. Come to find out, she actually had head lice. “I’ve never had lice in my life,” the Angel actress said. “I don’t know what to do. I’ve been itching for two weeks.”
People immediately noticed that the video was recorded on a plane.

Although finding out that you have head lice is obviously unpleasant, what was more concerning to people is that she recorded the video on a plane, meaning she boarded the aircraft knowing that she had lice, putting the other passengers at risk. In the video, she explained that she had a five-hour flight. Because of her head lice, she used a plastic bag that her headphones came in to cover her hair.
‘What is wrong with you?’ people wondered.

“Well I certainly would not be on a plane with untreated lice announcing it,” another person wrote. “Not cool.”
Others called the actress out for being “self-absorbed” and “classless in first class.”
“That’s disgusting,” one Instagram user wrote. “You’re going to spread that all over the plane. You should be ashamed of yourself.” Another person told Jenny that her decision to get on the plane was “truly wrong, and dirty.”
Because of Jenny’s video, some people never want to get on a plane again.

For some people, Jenny’s video was bad enough to swear off flying for good. “Never getting on a plane again,” one person commented on the video.
Another Instagrammer vowed to still travel by plane but will use a hair covering every time. “I will NEVER not wear a hoodie when I fly now !!” the person wrote. “Thank you for introducing a brand new fear of mine now — catching lice on a plane.”
“New fear of planes unlocked,” another person commented.
Cases of head lice have diverted flights before.

People criticized Jenny for not taking it seriously. Some people pointed out that flights have made emergency landings before because of head lice. They advised Jenny to tell a flight attendant about the lice so necessary precautions could be taken.
“You should notify an attendant so they can bring the hazmat crew in after you to clean up!” one person wrote.
Someone else mentioned being on a flight with a person who had head lice. “I’ve been on a flight that made an emergency landing due to lice. For Gods sake please [t]ell the crew,” the person told Jenny.
