The Kardashian family is known for going all out around the holidays, but even this was unexpected. On Sunday, Kim Kardashian released a music video for her version of “Santa Baby,” produced with the help of her brother-in-law, Travis Barker . So far, fans have a lot of thoughts about the visuals – and not all of them are positive.
The music video is new, but Kim’s recording of the song isn’t.
Kim recorded the song during season three of The Kardashians as sisters Kourtney, Khloé, and Kendall all looked on. Because Kim was in the studio two years ago, some viewers might have forgotten all about it … but days before Christmas, the song, which was produced by Travis, is back in a big way.
Kim shared the brand-new music video on Sunday.

The video is nearly five minutes long and features Kim in a short blonde wig. Her version of Christmas isn’t exactly wholesome – it’s a chaotic amalgamation of different scenes that show people arguing, an elf eating cake while sitting on a kitchen counter, and women stripped down to their underwear playing Twister.
It also features a cameo from one of the stars most often associated with Christmas: Macaulay Culkin, who starred in Home Alone as a kid, in the role of Santa Claus.
Fans seem baffled by the video.
One commenter really didn’t hold back, writing, “The worst thing I’ve ever seen. Like Satan directed it.”
Kim was even accused of ‘ruining Christmas’ with her video.

“Just because you can doesn’t mean you should,” another comment read, while another fan weighed in by calling the video “the cringe that stole Christmas.”
Multiple commenters also mentioned this video had pushed them to unfollow the reality star.
Meanwhile, Kourtney shared a different type of music video.

Kim’s big sis chose to post something a bit more wholesome over the weekend. In this one, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé are shown as kids, wearing shiny gold dresses and lip synching to Tiffany’s “I Think We’re Alone Now.”
As Kourtney pointed out in her caption, it’s clear that Khloé is the real star of the show. Where’s her version of “Santa Baby”?
