It sounds like Flo Rida and his family have been coping with a horrifying ordeal involving the musician’s 6-year-old. As Page Six reported, Flo Rida’s son is in the ICU after he fell from a window in a New Jersey apartment. Though the incident took place three weeks ago, the little boy is still hospitalized.

The news came out in a lawsuit filed by Alexis Adams, the mother of Flo Rida’s son, Zohar. She said that three weeks after his fall, Zohar is still in the ICU as he heals from fractures to his pelvis and feet, internal bleeding, a collapsed lung, and a lacerated liver

She is seeking damages, attorney’s fees, and for all of Zohar’s medical bills to be paid, and she has named the building’s owners and managers, a construction company, and a window installation company as defendants in the suit, per Page Six.
Zohar already suffers from a neurological condition called hydrocephalus , which is a buildup of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain.
Zohar’s mom is devastated.

“As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare. My heart is broken into a million pieces,” she said in a statement to News12 New Jersey. “I am devastated, angry and struggling to come to terms with the fact that my only child has suffered severe injuries due to willful negligence of our landlord and others involved In failing to take necessary safety measures.”
Flo Rida reportedly has no involvement in his son’s life.

In January, Alexis claimed that Flo Rida, whose real name is Tramar Lacel Dillard, has failed to pay for Zohar’s health insurance and tuition for years, even though he has been ordered to pay $9,000 in child support per month.
“Tramar Lacel Dillard is acting under false pretense,” Alexis told Insider at the time. “I’m already prepared for him to skillfully deflect responsibility.”
So far, the rapper has yet to issue a statement about his son’s hospitalization.

Though he has posted on social media over the last few weeks, it doesn’t seem that he’s made mention of Zohar’s hospitalization, and since the news became public, he has yet to issue a statement about the situation.
Here’s hoping Zohar is able to make a full recovery.
