Though Jana Kramer didn’t see an issue with the video at first, she later made the decision to delete it. Reflecting on the decision in several posts to her Instagram Stories, People reported, Jana wrote, “I’m being honest, I didn’t even see the issue at first with the original…I forget how sick this world is and how sexualized kids are.”

She wasn’t thinking about that at all when Jolie “came down the stairs that morning in her sports bra and said ‘alright momma I’m ready to workout.’” Jana explained that her daughter “likes to hang in gym / do kid yoga while I workout sometimes.” Because her kids love to dance, Jana suggested dancing together after the workout.

Her daughter was ‘sad’ when she found out that Jana deleted the video.

After deleting the video, Jana re-filmed it. In the newer version of the video, her daughter is wearing a shirt instead of just wearing a sports bra. In a post on her Instagram Stories, Jana explained that her daughter was “sad” when she found out that her mom had deleted the original video.

“Jolie asked to see original this morning and I told her I took it down after some convos,” Jana wrote. “She was sad, I explained why, and I said we can redo…she said yay!”

Although she didn’t see an issue with the initial video at first, Jana said she wouldn’t let her daughter go out in public wearing just a sports bra.

From Jana’s perspective, wearing a sports bra in the comfort of your own home is no big deal. What she forgot to consider is that she shared the video with tons of people.

The mom explained that she wouldn’t let her daughter go shopping wearing just a sports bra. “Now I would never let her go to a store in just a sports bra, and though this video was filmed in our home I still shared it to 2 mill people,” Jana wrote in her post, realizing her mistake.

Conversations with ‘followers over dm’ prompted her to take down the video.

In her post, Jana, who is also mom to two sons, Jace, 5, and Roman, 10 months, said she had some conversations with some of her followers that helped her decide to delete the video and re-film it. She said she loves sharing photos and videos of her family on social media, but she is cognizant of “some of the risks” as well. “I do believe there is a balance in it all no matter how messed up this world can be at times,” she wrote.

She plans to be more mindful of what she shares publicly.

Sharing and deleting the video seems to have been a learning experience for Jana, and she admitted that she has more to learn and think about in light of the conversations she’s had.

“I also see how I can do better at times to protect,” Jana wrote. “Again I had no clue just how far these sickos go. Sad honestly that’s where this world is at. I’m going to have @marisolnichols on the podcast to learn even more.”
