Just weeks after celebrating their second wedding anniversary, this Duggar couple is now the parents of two. On Friday morning, Jed and Katey announced the birth of their second child , sharing the first photos of their little one with Counting On fans, along with footage from the delivery.

The couple announced the happy news with a post on their Instagram account, sharing a photo of their baby girl sleeping as she’s all wrapped up in a blanket that reveals her name: Nora Kate.
Her parents wrote: “She’s here! And we’re so in love. Welcome to the world, sweet girl.”
They also shared their first photo as a family of four.

It looks like big brother Truett, who just celebrated his first birthday in May, was able to visit his mom in the hospital to meet his new baby sister. He looks so excited in this picture!
We’re sure this is just the first of many photos we’ll see of the new family of four.
Jed and Katey’s birth vlog is already up.
These two (much like Joy and Austin Forsyth ) vlog frequently on YouTube, and they wasted no time posting the video from Nora’s birth online! They shared it all, from Katey in labor in her hospital bed to the moment her baby girl was born. Jed’s mom, Michelle Duggar , was even in the room when Nora made her entrance.
Jed’s been making headlines for a lot of reasons this week.

“Excuse you, but you don’t know our family at all,” Jed wrote in an Instagram comment on Jill’s book announcement post. “Please don’t make assumptions about things that 100% none of your business. The true shame is on you.”
Their family is about to get even busier.

Having two under two isn’t exactly a walk in the park, but after coming from such a big family, hopefully Jed is up to the task. We’re looking forward to seeing new updates on baby Nora Kate as she grows. She and Truett are lucky to grow up with a sibling so close in age!
