Jenelle Evans - 1

Could Jenelle Evans be eyeing a return to the show that made her a household name? The former Teen Mom star was recently spotted with current Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star Briana DeJesus, since the show is currently in production. Jenelle was famously let go from the MTV franchise back in 2019 after her husband David Eason shot and killed their dog Nugget for biting their daughter Ensley. In March, Jenelle filed for legal separation from David, stating her intention to divorce him. On social media she has been teasing all of the changes she’s making in her life, and a return to reality TV could definitely be her next move.

The signs are there.

Page Six exclusively reported that Jenelle and Briana were spotted hanging out in Briana’s home state of Florida recently. Jenelle lives in North Carolina, but since the two were dressed casually, it could have just been a friendly visit.

Briana is currently filming the next season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter , which combined Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 into one show back 2022. In addition to Briana, it stars other popular members of the franchise including Catelynn Lowell Baltierra, Amber Portwood, Maci Bookout, and Leah Messer.

Jenelle did briefly return to the ‘Teen Mom’ universe before.

Briana did help Jenelle make a cameo on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter in 2022 to help her celebrate a win in court over former Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry. “She put the effort in to make it and she came and it was good vibes,” Briana told Page Six at the time , adding that she would be excited to see Jenelle return to the franchise.

Leah also expressed interest in seeing Jenelle return. “I think that I’m eager to see where she’s at in her life and whatever ultimately the executives decide is what they decide. I wish her the very best,” she said.

It was David who cost Jenelle her spot on ‘Teen Mom.’

Jenelle starred on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant before being given a spot on Teen Mom 2 . She was fired from the show in 2019 after David shot and killed their family dog Nugget. “MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since,” the network said in a press release . “Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”

Jenelle and David are done.

While Jenelle and David’s relationship hit a rocky patch after that, they patched things up and stayed together. But their marriage did finally come to an end earlier this year. Last fall, David was arrested for physically assaulting Jenelle’s eldest son Jace, who she had regained custody of earlier in 2023. Jace was taken into the protection of CPS while the assault was investigated.

David was eventually charged, and a no contact order between him and Jace was put into place. He and Jenelle split up right around the same time Jace was allowed back into her home.

Jenelle is celebrating her next chapter.

She seems to be committed to truly ending their relationship this time. North Carolina laws state a couple must be legally separated and living at separate addresses for a year before filing for divorce, so Jenelle announced herself separated on TikTok .

In a cheeky video posted on social media this week, Jenelle lip-synched to Taylor Swift’s “Picture to Burn” as she set fire to items from her marriage including a picture of her and David. “Bad energy be gone!" she captioned the post.

maci booout bentley - 2

Those who have followed Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards ’ story since their 16 and Pregnant days know the Teen Mom stars have had a tumultuous relationship through the years. From welcoming their son, Bentley, when Maci was still in high school to a brief engagement, to breaking up for good, and an eventual restraining order, it’s been a wild ride. But things might have just gotten even wilder.

Maci and Ryan spent time together with their son and partners on Easter.

Maci shared a photo via Instagram on March 31 that likely prompted Teen Mom fans’ jaws to drop. “Easter Shenanigans ,” she captioned a group photo. The image featured herself and her husband, Taylor McKinney, 15-year-old Bentley, Ryan, and Ryan’s girlfriend, Amanda Conner.

Even Maci didn’t see it coming.

“Who would have thought?” Maci told E! Online in an interview published on April 7. “It’s definitely been hard. But I think we have been able to maintain this mutual respect.”

Communication between her and Ryan as co-parents is a lot more open these days.

“If one of us has a question, we are not afraid to call each other and the other pick up the phone,” Maci explained. “It’s like, ‘What do you want to do about that? How do you want to handle this?’ The communication is just so much more respectful. And I would say it’s just easier.”

Maci said she and Ryan ‘got back to a place where we’re actually just friends.’

In the latest chapter of their co-parenting journey, Maci and Ryan have gone back to the basics and developed a friendship. She credits being “just a bit more caring about how” they talk to each other and handle situations for the improvements. “We enter those conversations in a more gentle way, in a more understanding way,” she told E! Online .

That doesn’t mean things are perfect all the time.

Maci noted there can be bumps in the road even with the positive steps they’ve taken. “Still got a long way to go — don’t get me wrong,” she said. “But I can’t believe we’re, like, a year and some months into it and things are still very good.”

The mom of three, who also shares Jayde, 8, and Maverick, 7, with Taylor continued: “We’ve still got a long way to go for where I think a normal co-parenting relationship could be, but I think naturally it’s moving in a way that works for everybody, especially Bentley.”
