Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar snagged two TLC reality series for having 19 kids. Now, many of their adult children are on their way to having super-sized families of their own. But recently, critics slammed Jessa Duggar for “popping” out babies “like a Pez dispenser.”
As a refresher, Jessa is the fifth-born Duggar kid. She married Ben Seewald in 2014, and they have welcomed five children. They have three sons, Spurgeon, 9, Henry, 8, and George, 1, and two daughters, Ivy, 5, and Fern, 3.
Jessa has announced she is expecting baby No. 6.
On March 7, Jessa revealed that she and Ben were expecting baby No. 6 . She took to Instagram with a pregnancy announcement, writing, “Halfway to holding you in our arms! 💞.” The soon-to-be mom of six also included a photo of sonogram images.

One person wrote, “Seriously another baby,” as another demanded to know, “Why so many babies? 🫠🫠.”
Someone else snarked, “Keep popping them out like a Pez dispenser. Geez give one another a rest.”
A different follower commented, “I don’t know about quality time for each one !! 🤷🏻♀️ wow.”
However, many people came to her defense.
One person wrote, “Congratulations!!! Each baby is a blessing.”
“No one else’s business she loves and cares for her children that’s all that matters❤️,” another commenter pointed out.
Reddit users, meanwhile, offered their baby name predictions.

On the r/DuggarsSnark subreddit, critics shared their best guesses for baby No. 6’s name .
For a girl, many followed the plant theme of her first two daughters, Ivy and Fern. Many guessed monikers such as Poppy, Hazel, Willow, Sage, Rosemary, Holly, Rose, or Lily. For a boy, they speculated choices similar to George and Henry’s names, such as William, Theo, Graham, Calvin, or Caleb.
Meanwhile, others jokingly threw in more unique choices that gave “Spurgeon” vibes, such as Seaweed and Seaworld.
Currently, two other Duggar women are confirmed to be pregnant.
So far, 2025 has brought with it a Duggar baby boom.
Jed and Katey Duggar welcomed twin girls , Elsie and Emma, in January. Jinger Duggar is also pregnant with her third baby , a boy, and due in late March. Meanwhile, Jeremiah Duggar and his wife, Hannah, are expecting baby No. 3 .
Fans have also speculated that Josiah Duggar’s wife, Lauren, is pregnant , although they have not publicly confirmed the news.
