Singer Katy Perry is in trouble with fans again. People are unhappy with the American Idol judge for the way she spoke to contestant Nutsa Buzaladze after a recent performance. This is the second time this season Katy’s commentary has caused backlash. Earlier in the season, she sparked major controversy after mom-shaming another contestant.
Katy targeted Nusa after she sang in a shimmery, silver getup.

Nutsa took the stage to sing Grace Potter and the Nocturnals’ “Paris (ooh La La)” while dressed in head-to-toe silver glitter. The stage lights sparkled off of her outfit, adding a magical touch to the performance.
Unfortunately, Katy wasn’t as taken by the singer’s ensemble, and she made her feelings known to Nutsa and the audience.
The mother of one told Nutsa to pump the brakes on her glittery glam.

Katy didn’t mince words after the singing was through. “Nutsa, every time you take the stage it’s like you glitter bomb the stage,” Katy chastised the singer, according to Page Six.
“Listen, one thing that I would like to see from you is not one piece of glitter the next time,” she continued. “I know that is going to be hard.”
Both of Katy’s cohosts were shocked by the crowd reaction.

Nobody was ready for the crowd to start booing Katy, prompting Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan to jump up in shock. “Katy got booed,” a surprised Luke exclaimed.
“First time in six seasons,” Katy said as the boos died down. “What I’m saying is that I’d like you to flip the script. I think we want to be pulled in by our hearts, too. I’d love to see that and America might too.”
It may be the first time the audience booed, but it’s not the first time they have expressed unhappiness with Katy.

In March Katy drew plenty of ire after making a joke about how many children contestant Sara Beth Liebe had. The 25-year-old mother of three became embarrassed when Katy made a comment about how she had been spending too much time on her back .
The contestant became so upset by Katy’s mom-shaming words that she actually quit the contest!

People haven’t been happy with the Idol star since the way she treated Sara , and fans have shared their disappointment and annoyance with the pop star on social media.
Hopefully Katy reins in the snark a bit. It doesn’t seem like fans are loving the sassier side of the singer.
