It’s hard to believe that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter, Lilibet , is already 3 years old. The little girl celebrated another birthday on Tuesday, June 4, and even though her dad’s side of the family lives across the pond and wasn’t in attendance at her party, her special day didn’t go unrecognized by her grandfather. Though King Charles reportedly did find his own way to mark the occasion , he may be withholding her birthday gift until his ongoing feud with the rest of her family comes to an end.
Lilibet is officially 3 years old.
Time really does fly, doesn’t it?
In that time, neither Lilibet nor her big brother, 5-year-old Archie, has spent much time with the royals, but according to The Mirror, her grandfather didn’t want to let her birthday pass without saying something.
King Charles reportedly got in touch with his youngest granddaughter.
Royal expert Tom Quinn told the news outlet that Charles was sure to pass on a birthday gift and message to Lilibet, though it may not have been anything more than that.
“King Charles had no intention of completely ignoring Lilibet’s birthday so he has sent a gift along with a message,” he said.
He plans to give Lilibet a very special gift … under one condition.
“He gave Prince George a beautiful hand-made wooden swing with George’s name carved on it and he has plans to give something similar to Lilibet but not this year,” Quinn said. “And not unless and until the family feud dies down.”
Seems like Charles means business when it comes to this family tradition.

Although the royals weren’t on the guest list, some of Meghan and Harry’s famous friends were, according to Quinn.
“Hugely expensive presents have been ruled out but the couple’s mansion in California was awash with celebrities including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom and their daughter Daisy who is just a few months older than Lilibet,” he said.
Harry may not have had high hopes about his family joining the celebration.
“One of Harry’s old army friends said: ‘Harry knew they wouldn’t come anyway and he was pretty sure he would not have wanted them there. But he is really sad that Archie and Lilibet cannot have any kind of relationship with their cousins while his feud with his family continues,’” Quinn added.
It sounds like she did still have a pretty fun birthday, even though her grandpa (and Aunt Kate and Uncle Will) wasn’t there to spend the day with her. We can’t wait to see an updated photo of her so we can find out how much she’s grown!

It’s already been nearly six months since Kate Middleton last appeared in public in an official capacity, and we may have even longer to wait before we see her returning to her royal duties. According to what a royal insider told the Daily Beast, the family plans their events well in advance, and for Kate, that means no plans through the end of 2024.
“Lots of people involved in planning need to know what all the principals are doing a long way in advance,” the source said. “I am told that Kate’s diary for this year is empty. There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year.”
Right now, work just isn’t on Kate’s mind.
Not that anyone could blame her, of course. After a planned abdominal surgery revealed cancer earlier this year, Kate’s now in treatment, and even though she has seemed optimistic about the future so far, it makes sense that taking care of herself would come first.
“The key thing for her now is avoiding any kind of stress or anxiety and just getting on with the business of getting better,” a source close to Kate told the news outlet.
She’s getting ready to spend the summer in privacy.
The friend said that Kate, Prince William, and their three children are planning to head to the family’s country estate, Sandringham, as soon as school is out for the summer. There, she’ll be able to have more privacy than she would closer to the city — and hopefully be able to enjoy her time with George, Charlotte, and Louis while they’re out of school.
This report isn’t doing much to quiet the conspiracy theorists.

In fact, it seems the report may have only spurred them on, judging by what people are now saying on X (formerly Twitter).
“So soft announcing that she’s been dumped by her husband and the rest of #thatfamily now that she’s no longer useful?” one person wrote .

According to what one royal source told the Daily Beast, it could come in the form of another video.
“I would not rule out another video message updating the country on her health,” the insider said. “That proved to be a very effective way of keeping the conspiracy theorists at bay.”
