A Monday Instagram photo dump has gotten Kourtney Kardashian in some hot water with fans. The otherwise benign post included some snaps from a recent photo shoot and some candid photos of the reality star’s backside, but that wasn’t enough to distract from pictures of Kourt’s bathroom that seemed to gross a lot of her followers out.
People couldn’t get past the food photos in Kourtney’s post.

One of the photos included in her Instagram carousel was an overhead shot of a tub filled with bubbles and red water, surrounded by plates of food. Plates of what looked like chicken tenders, strawberries, and other fruits littered the bathroom floor.
An arm’s length away from the tub (and disturbingly close to all that food) was the toilet. The commode was also doubling as a side table, and had a burger and what looked like an empty glass sitting on it.
Fans were quick to make fun of the normally particular Kourtney.

Normally, a lot of Kardashian family pushback is overblown , but we have to admit that some critics had really good points about the hygiene of eating next to a toilet.
“Food on the commode and bathroom floor,” one person wrote. “No ma’am.”
Another person called attention to the burger. “How can you eat off a plate that’s been sitting on the toilet,” the commenter wrote. “I can’t stand to see [people] place their clothes on top of the toilet to go shower.”
Kourt’s long-time friend came to her defense.

Kourtney tagged her pal and wrote, “my supportive friend hiding in that corner bringing good vibrations” in what appears to be a nod to a photo shoot Kourtney did with stylist Dani Michelle.

It looks like the joke was on fans, since the bathtub scene was actually part of a photo shoot featuring Kourtney and Travis.
In a still from the shoot Kourtney shared to her Instagram story, the reality star can be seen sitting in the tub while Travis sat opposite of her, chugging out of a bottle of champagne.
We didn’t think Kourtney was actually eating food off the bathroom floor.

While Kourtney has changed quite a bit since hooking up with her rock star husband, we weren’t convinced that she had changed enough to eat on snacks next to the toilet.
Plus, as any long-time Kardashian fan knows, there’s no shot Kourtney would ever have that kind of bathroom tile pattern in her home.
