All’s well in Affleck-ville. According to a lip reader, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s recent red carpet spat wasn’t actually the big blowup it appeared to be. Instead, it seems like they may have been having an intense conversation about something else entirely.
The duo sent tongues wagging after they seemed to have a strained chat before posing for photos.

A tight-lipped Jen and an exasperated looking Ben had a quite yet vigorous conversation in between stops on the red carpet. People immediately started sharing clips and pictures from the exchange online, speculating about what could’ve gotten them into another seemingly very public tiff.
One expert thinks it was all much ado about nothing.

According to a lip reader who spoke with the Daily Mail , Ben and Jen weren’t arguing so much as trying to avoid a wardrobe malfunction . The pro believes that Jen was asking her husband whether or not her top was “showing too much” as they posed in front of photographers.
They were also trying to strategize for the pictures.
A lot of work goes into looking as perfect as Ben and Jen do while walking the red carpet, and apparently that’s because they work together to make sure their pictures look as flawless as possible.
The lip reader says they were also talking about how close to get during pictures, with Ben asking Jen to move in a little more toward him.
When all was said and done, Jen told Ben it was time to leave.

After they finished up, Jen apparently said “that’s us, done” to Ben before Ben gave her a kiss and asked how she was doing.
Next, Jen told her husband that they needed to move out, and asked him to “step over there” while pointing where she wanted him to move.
That’s actually really reassuring and makes total sense, especially with how they appeared to be perfectly fine both before and after the supposed fight seemed to happen.
It seems like so many of Ben and Jen’s interactions end up being overblown.

The pair have easily explained away almost every fight fans think they’ve spotted since they got back together. Maybe it’s time we stop looking for signs that Bennifer 2.0 is doomed and start celebrating the love that Ben and Jen have for one another.
These two really do seem like the real deal.
