Family is rallying behind Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell as she undergoes chemotherapy for stage four adrenal cancer. Several pictures have been released showing Mama June Shannon at her daughter’s bedside, signaling that their estrangement may have ended now that Anna is fighting for her life.

The 28-year-old appeared in good spirits as she smiled with her mother in a hospital room in photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
Fans may remember that the pair became estranged after June rekindled a romance with the man Anna accused of molesting her when she was just a child, breaking Anna’s trust.
Their relationship has slowly been getting better over the past year.

Sources close to the family told TMZ that June had been working to improve the relationship between herself and her daughters over the past few months, even including them in her beachy wedding in February, when she remarried Justin Stroud .
Now it appears her timeline for making amends has been sped up by her daughter’s illness.
Anna’s diagnosis was revealed earlier this year.

The mother of two received a cancer diagnosis after suffering from ongoing stomach pain. Adrenal cancer is rare and involves the glands at the top of the kidneys, according to the Mayo Clinic .
When caught early, this type of cancer is often curable, but unfortunately for Anna, the cancer has spread and now her prognosis doesn’t look quite as good.
June has been by her daughter’s side since her diagnosis.

Sources say that June has been trying to pitch in as much as she can, offering to watch Anna’s kids when she needs an extra set of hands and going with her to her doctor’s appointments because she “wants her daughter to know she has a support system.”
June’s not the only one showing up big time for Anna — the rest of the family was also photographed at a recent chemo session.
Even Honey Boo Boo was there to cheer her sister on.

Alana Thompson was spotted along with the rest of her family, both in Anna’s room and as the group left the facility while wearing matching face masks.
It seems as if Anna’s getting a ton of support right now, which we imagine she needs as she faces this health scare.
