There have been a lot changes being made in the Little People, Big World family lately, and now it seems like we can add another to the list. Matt Roloff’s farm business was dissolved after he failed to file paperwork required for 2023. So what happens next?

According to In Touch Weekly , online reports show that Matt failed to file his annual report for 2023, which has led to his business being labeled as “inactive.”
He is supposed to renew his articles of incorporation every February, and this year, the due date has come and gone without that renewal happening.
He could end up facing penalties for this mistake.

“Those who do business with an unregistered assumed business name may not have standing in court to pursue or defend legal actions. They also may find it difficult to do business, for example, getting licenses, opening bank accounts and entering into contracts,” notes the Oregon Secretary of State’s Office, via In Touch.
The future of the farm has been a bit murky.

Though Matt did put up the farm for sale, he ultimately decided against going through with it. He eventually took the farm off the market , instead deciding to convert part of it into a rental property.
And now, the situation with the business being dissolved makes it all even more confusing.
This doesn’t mean the farm is closing its doors.

Regardless of what might be going on behind the scenes with the legalities of Roloff Farms, it’s not going anywhere. According to what Matt commented on the farm’s official Instagram account recently in response to a fan, they are planning on going ahead with pumpkin season this fall as usual.
Matt may just be late renewing the paperwork.

Or maybe he has plans for the farm that he hasn’t yet revealed publicly.
Either way, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Roloff Farms. We know that those who live locally and visit every year would be sad to see it go!
