Proud papa Robert De Niro has another new bundle of joy to celebrate. The 79-year-old recently revealed that he had added a seventh baby to the mix. The Golden Globe winner had the funniest way of breaking the news, too — not that we’d expect anything less.
Robert was chatting with an ‘ET Canada’ reporter when he shared the happy news.

When a reporter called the Casino star a father of six, he felt compelled to update the stats and let the person know he actually " just had a baby ."
Robert dished on co-parenting with his ex-wife and explained how his kids don’t exactly see him as a “cool dad” but that they’re still “respectful.”
We don’t know much else about the baby except that it has arrived.

The prolific papa didn’t give up too much info about his new baby. Fans were left to guess about when the little one was born (and whether he added a baby boy or baby girl to his brood).
The only thing anyone seems confident about is the mother of the baby, who Page Six reports is likely Tiffany Chen , Robert’s girlfriend, who appeared to be pregnant in photographs taken earlier this year.
The pair have been romantically linked since 2021.

The pair met while filming Robert’s 2015 movie The Intern with Anne Hathaway . They were later spotted in Spain together the following year and again in France in 2021 when they visited the country for Robert’s 78th birthday.
Whether Tiffany is the mother or not, this new baby is going to have a lot of big brothers and big sisters to look up to.
Robert’s six other children come from three prior relationships.

The 79-year-old welcomed his first child in 1971 when he adopted his then-wife Diahnne Abbott’s daughter. Before they divorced they welcomed a son named Raphael.
Next, Robert had twin sons named Aaron and Julian with ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith before welcoming a son named Elliot and a daughter named Helen with ex-wife Grace Hightower.
Robert’s oldest child is 51.

OK, we have to admit that we’re tired just thinking about this! Up until the new baby arrived, Robert’s youngest child was 11 years old. That means he’s starting all over again with a newborn more than a decade after the last time he’s had to go through all of those sleepless nights, early mornings, and witching hours.
Although we’re happy for the actor, we do worry about how he’s going to handle all having to start all over again from the beginning. Hopefully he caught up on his rest before this new little one arrived!
