Twitter users have come up with a pretty interesting theory about what the latest rumors about the state of Prince Harry and Meghan Markel’s marriage could mean. Many people think that the ongoing whispers of trouble in paradise are actually a big hint that another royal couple has hit the skids. To be honest, we’re not happy about either possibility.
One Twitter user shared screen grabs of several stories about Harry and Meghan to prove her point.

There have been rumors in the past that the media will try to cover unflattering stories about William and Kate up by pushing the narrative onto Harry and Meghan, which is why fans think the all-consuming news coverage about the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes’ rocky relationship is actually a sign that his brother’s marriage is in trouble.
“Like I was saying, William is divorcing Catherine,” the person captioned several headlines about Harry and Meghan’s looming divorce.
There has been a history of deflection within the press.

A tweet from another royal watcher offered up some examples of other times rumors about Harry and Meghan turned out to be true about William and Kate, including the recently circulating story about how the Prince of Wales is prone to temper tantrums and often gets physical in spats with his wife that devolve into throwing things.

Seemingly on cue, another tabloid broke the news Tuesday that all of the rumored fighting and tense looks between William and Kate had more to do with marital infighting than the stress of King Charles’ coronation.
The couple appeared to be struggling to get along as recently as the beginning of May, when they arrived late to the king’s celebration , looking as if they’d been arguing just before stepping out of the car.
William and Harry’s parents had the same issue with the press.

Possibly the biggest indicator that these theories are true is the simple fact that many royal watchers have seen this before.
One person noted that the press did the same thing when Princess Diana and the then-titled Prince Charles were getting ready to split up. “It’s an old Royal maneuver deflect to the Spare to protect the Heir,” the person wrote. “Go back and look at old articles of the Yorks when things were bad for the Wales … "
We hope that none of the rumors are true.
Theories and speculation aside, both seem very happy with one another.
Hopefully this is just another case of a wild rumor getting out of control. We hate to think of William and Kate or Harry and Meghan splitting up. Not just because we really like the royals, but because they all have such young children at home who would be crushed by a separation.
