Jenelle Evans is celebrating oldest son Jace’s birthday, and it’s amazing to see how much he’s grown up! She took to Instagram to share a photo commemorating the occasion, and it’s wild to see what he looks like now, years after we saw him come into the world on 16 & Pregnant.

“14 YEARS OLD EVERYONE! #HappyBirthday to Jace!” she captioned the photo. “You’re growing into such a polite young man. I’m happy as long as you’re happy!”
The pair is smiling big in the photo. Jace, who is almost taller than Jenelle, smiles big with his arm around his mom.
“Happy birthday to my reality tv nephew,” one comment read. “Literally grew up wit you guys.”
It’s hard to believe that Jace is already 14.
“My gosh, were we not just at your baby shower?” one of Jenelle’s friends commented. “So big!”

This is the first birthday Jace is celebrating since Jenelle was granted full custody of him earlier this year.
In March, Jenelle took to Instagram and TikTok to post the good news — after 13 years, her mother Barbara Evans was giving Jenelle full custody.
“#MyHappyEnding ITS OFFICIAL! Thanks everyone for the support! Words cant descibe how happy i truly am. Our family is complete now! Thank you mom,” she captioned the emotional video .
Having Jace home made Jenelle feel her family was ‘complete.’

Regaining custody of Jace was a long and hard battle for Jenelle. But now that it’s all over, she is enjoying having their family “complete.”
“My relationship with Jace is closer than ever and doing much better,” she told E! News shortly after the custody announcement. “I feel like being with his family makes him much happier. Our family wasn’t complete without him.”
She said that her relationship with Barbara is even improving now that they’re not fighting over Jace in court. “Court trials are very scary and I don’t suggest it,” she said.
Everyone is happy the court drama is over.

It’s such a big change from the end of 2022 when Jenelle and her mother were still in the middle of the two-year fight over Jace.
“Someone took my baby, didn’t let me get a chance to raise my baby, and then kicks me out, takes my baby, because she was jealous of the guy I was dating at the time,” Jenelle claimed .
She went on to add, “It’s just sad she can’t take the role as grandparent and is adamant about being a parent, period. It’s like a competition.”
