What to Know
You know that feeling of driving home and reliving an argument or debate and suddenly knowing the best comebacks that you could have, but didn’t, use? Yeah, I highly doubt the woman in one TikTok knows that feeling, because in her video, she reads a room full of congressmen as she reads Charlie Kirk quotes to them and tries to make them see the hateful rhetoric that the late podcast host and far-right conservative activist spoke of.

She reads the congressmen for filth at the same time.
In reading the Kirk quotes to the Republican members of Congress, she also, in a roundabout way, reads the men. As in, she points to why she believes they probably shouldn’t be “idolizing” the slain Turning Point America CEO and public speaker.
Between each quote, Twig also reminds the men to look at her when she is speaking and to consider the gravity of what she is saying.
“These are direct quotes, I’m not adding any words, OK?” Twig tells the men. She then quotes Kirk as saying, “Women should not work, but instead serve their husbands and raise children.” Without missing a beat, Twig asks, “It’s award, right? Sit in silence with that for a second.”
She then asks what Erika Kirk is doing now, since she is a woman with children. But, Twig adds, she is definitely not just sitting at home raising her kids.
Twig also says, “He referred to transgender individuals, which are human beings, human beings, as a ‘throbbing middle finger to God.’ Would God say that? I don’t think God would say that.”
Instead of the men saying anything in response to Twig’s actual quotes from Kirk, toward the end, one is heard saying in a loud and overly confident voice, “My favorite thing I ever saw of Charlie Kirk, I think…”
Then, the video ends, which is honestly the best place to cut it off.
Someone else wrote, “I love the part where you establish dominance by forcing them to make eye contact in the same way you’d speak to a naughty child.”
“Sadly, they don’t care, as it’s all performative and dog whistles,” someone commented. “But this is 100 percent what needs to be done, so we can see their hypocrisy.”
